CSH-Seminar

The CSH seminar serves the professional exchange and networking of the scientists involved in the CSH initiative. In addition to lectures by colleagues from Hohenheim, scientists from other institutions are also regularly invited to give guest lectures at the CSH seminar.

During the lecture period, the CSH seminar usually takes place once a month, on the third Thursday of each month, from 4:15 to 5:45 pm.

CSH-Forum

The CSH-Forum is a series of events initiated by the CSH with the goal of providing a framework for the presentation and discussion of methods and topics in computational science that goes beyond a single lecture. A CSH symposium usually consists of three (or more) technical talks, with at least one of the talks given by an external speaker. In this respect, the CSH symposium serves not only the professional exchange but also the networking with scientists from other institutions.

CSH doctoral student and postdoc forum

The CSH doctoral student and postdoc forum serves the scientific and informal exchange on the postdoc level within the Computational Science Hub. During the lecture period, the CSH doctoral student and postdoc forum takes place monthly, usually on the first Thursday of the month, starting at 16:15.

Each meeting consists of a short (about 10 to 20 minutes) scientific talk by a junior scientist at the CSH, if possible, followed by a get-together at Café Denkbar or Wirtshaus Garbe.
